A ROSE READING
by Kimberly S. Harvey
I see a delicate white bud, hiding behind a shade screen trying to block out
some of the energy of the sun (source). Almost afraid to bloom for fear of
having your blossom plucked. You feel the intensity of the sun (source) as
overwhelming, afraid of the energy of radiance involved in fully blossoming.
Also feeling overwhelmed by an imbalance of energy focused on your blossom
and not on your roots. (when will I blossom, when is my time?)
I see your roots in a small box, not enough nourishment from the earth,
you've placed a barrier between you and the earth, you have a strong desire
to settle in, ground yourself and begin drawing up nourishment from your
surroundings, you desire beautiful, serene environment. I see you have your
roots in this box so it can be carried around, you are complacent but
inwardly resentful of not being settled in a beautiful garden. I see also a
fear of someone else needing you in that box and that is your complacency
but not your joy. I see many small leaves (avenues for growth, nourishment,
etc.) mostly one sided though facing the past (perhaps looking at all you
could have accomplished, did accomplish) I see several fresh new leaves
beginning to unravel in front of you. New beginnings for opportunity, many
large thorns tho as a defense should anything get to close. I also see an
electric fence around you, walling you off from touch, people, protecting
you. People get shocked when they come to close, using this see through
"wall" as a defense mechanism. I see your stem as week from trying and
trying to get more resources but you have limited your supply (the box you
keep putting yourself in, the barrier). I see your roots trying hard to find
a way out of the self imposed prison, reaching for that connection, that
nourishment that comes from being grounded in YOUR reality. I see that you
can break that box and "sink in" and begin to draw from your surroundings
all that will nourish you and help to channel that tremendous creative flow.
