The Artists' Ebony Pearl: An ArtModel Goddess ExtraordinairÈ CCPI celebrates all forms of Art designed to show and reveal exactly what we Human Beings are made of as the potential excellence transcending heights reached into new dimensions of revelations by discovering and exploring more about ourselves as a unique species. The stigmata of psychological structures and/or belief systems are being investigated and decoded by Artists. Their contributions for the conscious awakening of Humankind is emerging at optimum levels to remove the facade endorsed by the world to keep everyone in conflict. 
Kennitta Lindsey has become a frontrunner, a pioneer of creative expression as one of many ArtModels producing a platform to be heard. The clichÈ of 'making the world safe for democracy' when Humanity's inhumanity towards Humanity as a precedent is baffling to the mind of all Artists as an absurdity. We think like many of the brothers and sisters in the world of today that 'democracy was making the world safer' but apparently it isn't working and that's a pity - therefore, who wouldn't dare to be different! 
 Life energy inspires new openings for the courageous soul to pass through without fear, shame, guilt and/or embarrassment in the service of the utmost highest. Everybody is doing what they are doing and it is all good within the master design of "The Evolutionary Expressionism of Life Energy". The cosmic power of stillness in the turbulence of the raging storm's thunder, lightening and crashing pops of electrical charges dancing across the Universal sky with spirits traversing through objective forms and shapes to and from inspired destinations in fear and faith concepts. The creative intensity is experienced by the mortal beings upon the planet earth as the storm's release pours forth water from the cosmic ocean to relinquish the mind, body and soul of all preconceived ideas based upon prejudice, bias and old resentments. No attachments please, it slows me, you, them, those, etc., down! - anybody whose working to transcend all restrictions placed upon the Human evolution for Being Free!  We relish all that is unconditional and understanding of the beautiful spirits that inhabit the Human form of the Bodhi-Being incognito. We Artist are here and here is now, therefore we are with each other regardless of time and space concepts. Kennitta Lindsey, the body beautiful came to CCPI's attention some time ago but it wasn't until now we were able to bring her creativity to the viewing public. Ms. Lindsey has ArtMolded since April '02 in the areas of visual and fine arts. She has been blessed to be working with well known Art schools, colleges and universities Art Department instructors, teachers and coordinators as well as a slue of Professional Artists in their own right within the ArtWorld. While honing on her creative skills, talents, abilities to master her craft as an ArtModel, Kennitta Lindsey has been featured in several Art Exhibits throughout the eastern region of the USA with different Artist using various types of media-painting, drawing, sculpting, photographing, etc., also the actual painting onto the body itself for aesthetic effects. She is included in video exhibition presentations for educational purposes while continuing to broaden her capacity as an ArtModel. Ms. Lindsey's attributes are innumerable; to name a few upon meeting her: having a positive attitude, punctuality, good rapport with all creative people, being flexible in her ArtModeling styles, techniques and most important professional to the nth degree. Although there is a huge learning curve to master ArtModeling, the field is refreshing, new and revitalizing for both male and female body forms of extraordinary willpower! It is wonderful to receive this transmission from a shinning star within this galaxy. The body beautiful has no shame, nor blame by nature's discourse. Life is fantastic! and we are truly blessed to be upon this sojourn with the likes of "The Visual Artists' Ebony Pearl: ArtModel Goddess ExtraordinairÈ, Kennitta Lindsey." Whatever is... is perfect, we never have to be concerned with proving anything, after all we are a divine manifestation of life itself and life is "All That Is" happening here and now! Ladies and gentleman a star that's born.... Q: In retrospect from where you began to where you are now in the maturation of your ArtModel career, talents, skills, growth and development as well as cultivation of this innate gift, where are you taking us today in observation of your Artistry? KL: I feel like I am guiding with what I do, people in general, more with all women, and even more so with women of color, to raise questions about why it is important to have an ArtModel at work. I think now is the time to challenge the views of ourselves and to do things that we don't always think about and/or if we thought about it, why aren't we doing it. I think what I'm doing will help support the fact that we should continue to break new ground and think outside the box, no matter what occupation we undertake to do.  KL: In terms of my life experience, I really wasn't aware of this kind of modeling, even though I always wanted to model. I kept thinking in the realm of fashion, but the ArtModeling ability I believe was there incubating within me. It was just dormant inside my subconcisous. There were kindred spirits that were influential right in front of me the whole time I was growing up. It all started with the nude sculpture of a man and woman, I remember from the time my parents brought it to enhance the decoration of our home. I was very curious and drawn to the beauty of this nature I had never seen before. I would always look at it and study it. I believe that what I do as an ArtModel was meant to be. And of course, I always looked at tons of fashion magazines and art books that show the Human form and it's different poses. Q: What specific statements or consistent themes have you focused upon that keep reoccurring as the silver thread throughout your ArtModel career and why? KL: One statement I constantly receive since I've been ArtModeling is how inspiring I am to the Artist and to the people. I am not sure exactly why the magnetism happens, maybe it's my style of posing and/or my physical form of classical features reminiscent of ancient times. It like a throwback of some sort through the time machine or maybe because what I do is in some way innately a part of my nature. It wasn't taught to me. Also, I am aware of my body and how well I can maintain and resume a pose precisely after a break. Artist have told me that is a rare quality and makes a real 'Pro' if an ArtModel can produce that in their work. Q: What inspired you to take an interest in ArtModeling, and who specifically encouraged you to pursue this creative medium? KL: At that time I begin this path of artist endeavor, no one encouraged me to do it nor was I truly inspired, a light just click on when I went to the Torpedo Factory which houses the Art League where the model coordinator mentioned modeling, but I was clueless. When she explained to me what ArtModeling entailed, then I understood a little better what decision/choices to consider. I started searching for a model photographer to possibly help me with producing an ArtModel portfolio.  KL: The culture impacts me quite a bit, to the extent that I'm always looking or buying art books that show the incredible forms of Human Beings. I am a visually inspired person, so I seek not to be boring and lackadaisical in doing my work. The Human culture as a whole helps me to challenge myself to be sincere in my approach as an ArtModel. Q: An ArtModel is a visionary in many ways. When reaching beyond the boundaries of created expressions produced within the cycles of time in an infinitely changing world, how do you perceive that your vision as an ArtModel has expanded, changed and/or assisted in the evolution of conscious awakening for Humanity through ArtWorks? KL: I perceive that my vision as an ArtModel has expanded to what my purpose is and that as an ArtModel, we are Artist with the right of passage to bring consciousness into the world. My purpose is to provide a professional service for the Visual Artist. I feel there is team work between Artist and Model. It is my motivation as an ArtModel to be a walking PR (public relations) in the ArtWorld. This helps any model to know he/she is valuable, just as valuable as the Artist who is showing their Art through exhibitions. An ArtModel may be surprised as to what other opportunities that are in store for them as they discover other talents and skills they didn't know they had. I'm being considered for a part as an ArtModel in a legitimate film project. Other creative venues are video and radio projects related to just how a gallery owner may refer you via an Artist presentation of you in their exhibition and just being around the right kind of professional people. Q: As an ArtModel imparting visual observations of life's impressions upon you into the world of Humankind for generations to see, hear, learn, grow and develop greater insights about the Human existence as a creative Being, how would you handle on a large scale the task of changing the direction of Human Being through ArtModeling, if indeed this were possible at this point of your Career path? KL: One of the things I would like to change or see a change occur is where ArtModels can travel from different cities where there is a large Art community encouraging respect, dignity and compassion for the whole of Humanity. This way ArtModels can grow, and learn with Artist as well as meeting with other models by sharing each others ideas. By all of this happening, it would come from having a financial foundation, money pool and/or continuous funding by an organization that's geared to support ArtModels. I also see models traveling to other countries, Italy, Spain and France, etc., I feel ArtModels should expand their horizons like every kind of professional model in the world. Q: How do you connect with the motifs that emerge and/or being sensed from within the ArtModel compositions of other ArtModels that may compel you to strengthen your unique display of artistic consciousness through your work? KL: The way I am able to connect is by seeing different Art motifs like in DiVinci's ArtWorks and/or even today's Robert Liberace, who made me see new perspectives about physical beauty. Beauty is a state of mind which Visual Artists can appreciate when an ArtModel, who is a plus size as well as someone who is petite creates magic for them to capture in their medium of creative expression. If you look at the paintings of the Old Master Artists' you will see that the women especially are not really very small, they are usually more healthy sized and voluptuous. The standard for physical beauty types wasn't as limited as it appears in today's world. There wasn't any exclusivity to prevent a variety of ArtModel types to be considered for work due to one standard of models accepted out of prejudice/bias practices. Q: Who are the primary Masters of Visual Arts and/or Artist you have worked with that you consider to have influenced your styles, approaches, intelligence and acute senses regarding the intricacies of artistic creativity as an ArtModel and in what ways? KL: Well there are several Artist that have influenced my styles for creativity. First, each Artist is different in terms of their ArtWork. There is Robert Liberace, his style is of the Renaissance Era. The Artist of that time were Micheangelo, Rembrandt and DiVinci. As an ArtModel, I feel it is important to see and understand their styles and techniques, that way I can give different poses that are poetic. The way I attempt to model gives them as well as the public a little story. Not just a person just standing there in the picture. There's also Danni Dawson, Jackie Saunders, Walt Bartman, Lisa Semerad, Jay Hall Carpenter, Pricilla Tracy, Rick Weaver, Chuck Johnson, Ardath Hill, Charles Flickenger, Michael Ian Goulding, Trinka Simon, Fred Limbach, Fernando C. Sandoval, Adrianne Mills, Michelle Johnson, Walt Bartman, Sr. and the III, Lida Stifel, John Murray, Eric Butters, Eric Westbrook, Sinclair Hamilton, Sam Noto, Katie Dell Kaufman, Pamela Jennings, Steve and Avis Flemming, and many others that I have worked who are also wonderful. Q: What is your most difficult challenge as an ArtModel/Human Being? KL: My most difficult challenge as an ArtModel is that every now and then, I am misunderstood. In American culture, first we have this "look down on" attitude about it, or as if it is not a real profession. Second, as Americans we have a big hang-up about the dignity of the nude body, we don't see it as beautiful, we see it as pornography, vulgar, or dirty. Also there is misunderstanding base between the sexes. Some people, men specifically, who don't understand what I do as an ArtModel as legitimate, don't understand the value of Human Art as a whole. These people have another mind-set with no good intentions and this is attributable to exploitation practices in all professions. Some women who don't understand may think I am setting up for my self, as well as for other women, an open door to be degraded. This isn't and never was or will be the case. We are Artist, creative individuals first and foremost!  KL: Well, what distinguishes me from other ArtModels is that I am who I am and I take the professionalism of my work seriously. It is my life and my passion to be the best ArtModel I can be! Some models by their right just see ArtModeling as a way to just make some extra money for their pockets. For me it has educated me to be more confident in dealing with life, I feel very comfortable with my body, and confident to do many things that I didn't know I could do. The ArtModels that I do admire inspire me to want to be better and never be ashamed about what I do. The ArtModels I admire are not alive today, therefore I never met them face to face, but I have read and heard so many great things about them. When I asked Artists who have worked with some of them I'm excited to hear about the stories they experienced with them as ArtModels. Hearing their stories makes me all the more to realize what I do is an important contribution to our Human World. Q: What bit of wisdom can you share and pass on to the up and coming ArtModels in their process of achieving creative goals and artistic endeavors? KL: What I can share with other ArtModels is that while they are modeling to really listen to common remarks by the Artist they are working with... what the different Artists may see in you could be your "calling card" to a great and prominent place in the annals of ArtModel History. This means that the ArtModel has something they can use for their unique talents as they continue to develop it. It could be their face, hands, hair, etc. Also , I want ArtModels to know it is essential to keep good rapport with the Art community (productive networking) that provides opportunities that will come your way. Q: What are some of the Exhibitions, Books, etc., you have been featured and/or shown in as an ArtModel? KL: I have been exhibited lately in the "Unobstructed View" Exhibit by Katies Bell Kaufman, "Being Art" by Adrienne Mills, "The Quest-The Swimming Lesson" by ZoÎ Charlton, which is transformed into a video exhibition piece; which is now shown at the Studio Museum of Harlem, New York. The current showings of work with an Artist will be in the very beginning of June '04 by Michael Ian Goulding. I will be featured in addition to other ArtModels also a part of Mr. Goulding Exhibition. The Artist, Jim Guzel received a 'First Place Award' in a photography show in April'04, I was the ArtModel. There is a possibility I will participate in a film project as mentioned earlier called "Soulmates", A Theatrical Feature Film By Joan Sugerman, A Gemini Pictures Production and a book project in June '04 that is in the works. Q: What do you want the public to understand about the ArtModel on the whole? What is Life?
LIFE is this cosmic sojourn of energy undertaken to explore the absolute truth through innumerable forms throughout annals of retrospected history creating an undeniable answer to this question. It is ENERGY! When acknowledging that one is created by this undefinable, invisible something from whence one comes and inevitably returns without being limited to concepts interfering with it's true nature. We come to understand that we are the source. We are the miracle called life energy.

We, the fermented elixir, the essence, the source that have chosen to play blind man's bluff to total consciousness while returning to the brilliant light through self-discovery. The authentic original article reflected in multiple manifestations of physical, intellectual and material forms, shapes and sizes, producing illusions of reality is presumably unknown. However deep within this unknown energy field a force brings forth life signs of great intelligence at work within void.
There is only one thing evidently happening in this unfolding universe and that is undoubtably the invisible breathing in, breathing out all creations. This invisible essence fuels the furnaces of Human powerhouses through productive methods upon this earth. The self direction to multiply various created images are visible as envisaged. It's uncontainable essence expands limitedless boundaries forever growing and changing all of it's contents and contexts within cosmic existence. We, 'Artists', spirtual beings are endowed with this powerful force to increase and command it's grasp to release and let go in creative freedom.
We proclaim as 'Artists' the act of willfully co-creating freely with powers of perception. We are the unconquerable magnitude that remains within it's command to serve to the highest creative potential that overrides....the constant earth decay, destruction, death, resurrection, rebirth cycles through ArtWorks which remind us that everything is impermanent on this superficial level which momentarily captivates this changeless lifeforce.
Life ultimately obliterates all conceptual dualistic structures, oppositions and resistences to it's true nature. This sense of freedom is like a phoenix rising out of the ashes, never beginning and never ending it's essence with form. This cosmic energy which changes directions at any point requires universal order to sustain breathing in and breathing out.
This simple fact cannot be overlooked by 'Artists' drawing from the intelligence bestowed upon mankind for comprehensive purposes. The Creation affirms a prominent quality in mankind's consciouness states which arouses the spiritual being. The invisible source that infuses life throughout the universe cannot be defined but refines itself constantly. It is what it is whether we like it or not. There isn't any question and/or mistake about breathing. We thrive out of breath regardless of the various pointers used through sciences, religions, philosophies and theologies. The Human sojourn of life discovers presumed secrets with an innate understanding that the real question becomes "What are we purposefully creating with this life energy?"
It is life's evolutionary process, 'that we can't live with it and we can't live without it' which invariably brings the superimposed internal struggles and external conflicts based upon an elemental quaility named 'fear' to the forefront. The pursuit to discover the secrets of this almighty force has always catapulted the spiritual being to adventure into the unknown vastness of creation through whatever medium necessary. Art is a primary form of expression that attempts to do this. The inspiration and bravery to go forth in conciousness has gripped the soul. Human Beings purport to be scared, frightened and shocked to learn about their true nature, however, it takes courage to accept being supreme by nature! It challenges and eventually eliminates the conditioning structures derived within linear time and space as we embark upon this life's journey. This exploration within and beyond the capacity to pinpoint, investigate and analize life's inception is the one thing we know that we cannot run away and/or escape from. The unpredictable and/or preordained destination allocated to every living creature to ascend to it's highest level of maturity during a timeframe before reentering the eternal void is essential.
The personal insecurities regarding control over life is understood but grounded in the delusion of egotical approaches to secure physical forms of matter from evolving. The universe encourages self-exploration and mastery out of the void of this impersonal LIFEFORCE. The energy that doesn't distinquish, discriminate or divide it's manifestions from the vastness it encompasses is the immortal link which frightens the reasonable, rational, logical mind of Humankind; the illusion of reality dissolved into complete oblivion.
The senses craving, wanting and demanding the mind to be filled with concrete evidence to affirm that we are not alone in this universe and that there isn't any motivating force outside of our own regenerative processes within this universe has captivated attention. The proof is evident that we are not alone with the motivating force that is regenerating it's self continuously as multiplistic, multi-dimensional, selves manifest, AS ONE VIEWS THE ARTWORKS PRODUCED THROUGHOUT THE AGES! Of course this is hard to accept but look in the mirror of the soul and see the reflections of the spirit. The reflection of the spiritual being manifesting illusions out of the depth's unfathomable reality seeking it's truth through creation. The umbilical cords are tightly woven connecting firmly all threads of silken bonds continueously invoking everlasting life.
When the spirit formulates itself into a Human configuration, its task is to experience as many stages of manifestations as required out of it's existence. The Perils of Human Existence upon this planet substantiates that we must learn to cope with our spirit's neverending challenges to acheive freedom from the illusions of reality that produce conflicts within ourselves.
We are not encouraged to unlearn what has been earnestly passed on from generation to generation, but to keep the traditional turmoil alive and thriving. If we were to eliminate the struggles where there truly aren't any struggles and learn to enjoy duality at face value this would be considered abnormal. The moment the spiritual being accepts an entrance into objective form out of the formless essence, to be imprisoned by it, the path is paved that will be traveled. Until the spiritual energy transforms it's self into its natural design, the life is forced through transcension to manifest again and again.
It is possible for the 'Artists' to maintain innocence and/or immaturity because of ignorance, however the naive spirit warrants maturation through growth, development via investigation, so that the birth purification cycles continue the evolutionary adventure. The universal soul inspires the searching process because most Humans remember nothing from birth and yet we know everything we need to know moment to moment about living. The telepathic transference of mind matter becomes evident through the electromagnetic fields, attracting sense recall and visual concepts without a word being uttered, written and/or thought about. The silence is the revealing quality of reality. We know and see it all the time, but resist the truth from within the depths of our soul that life is the only thing happening.
The infused courage, faith and trust in this invincible spirit of soul is the power and the glory. The concepts of thought manifesting it's images into languages that surmize the extremes of duality becomes enlightening dialogues instead of dogmas. The great divide between opposites, light and dark, good and evil, right and wrong is whole and complete unto its self without question of its value fulfillment. This illusion of separation isn't foriegn, however the entrapment by its demands for control propels us into states of confusion regarding mankind. The first and only relationship with ourselves through which creation constitutes the Human experience is life. And so it is!
We are beings. The memories are vague. The years past quickly and we become confused until an enlightened state occurs upon the sojourn. What is this madness we 'Artists' have come into? LIFE!

Center
From a bud, only a promise.
Then a gentle opening:
Rich blooming, bursting fragrance,
The fulfillment of the center.
Our glory has nothing to do with our appearance or our occupation. Our special qualities come from an inner source. We must take care to open and bloom naturally and leisurely and keep to the center. It is from there that all mystery and power comes, and it is good to let it unfold in its own time.
Just as a flower goes through stages-bud, open, bloom pollinate, wither, fruit, fall-each of us will go through the obvious stages of birth to death. We aren't of a single character throughout our lives. We change and grow. Our identities unfold and bloom. Unless we attain the center and keep to our progressions, we cannot ever reach true independence in our lives.
